विज्ञान आणि त्याचं बोट धरून येणारं तंत्रज्ञान हे नैतिकही नसतं की अनैतिकही नसतं. ते ननैतिक असतं. या जगातला, माणसानं लावलेला पहिला शोध म्हणजे गरजेनुसार अग्नी प्रज्वलित करण्याचा. त्या अग्नीचा वापर आपलं अन्न शिजवण्यासाठी करता येतो किंवा सुनेला जाळण्यासाठीही करता येतो. त्यात अग्नीचा काय दोष? त्याचा वापर करणाया माणसाच्या स्वत:च्या भल्याबुयाचंच प्रतिबिंब त्या वापरात पडलेलं असतं. मग दृष्टिभ्रमाचा खेळ शक्य करणाया नजरबंदीचा किंवा मायादर्पणाचा वापरही त्या त्या व्यक्तींच्या भावविश्वाच्या बैठकीवरच अवलंबून असला, तर त्यात नवल ते काय! Science and technology are neither moral nor immoral. They stand in between as neutral. Man learned to produce fire by the friction of flint stones, this was his first invention. Later on, he used this fire to cook his food and years later he learnt to use fire to burn his daughterinlaws too, it is our misfortune. But is this the wrong doing of the fire? Simply not! Fire reflects the image of man who is seeing through it. It is not a surprise that the success of hypnotism and visual illusion are based on the mental ability of the person to be hypnotized.
