Dr. Vidya Damle was a medical practitioner and had learned Indian Classical music under the able guidance of Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki. She has composed various bandishes out of which 48 compositions are introduced in this book along with notations. All these bandishes are sung in the CD by leading artists like Pt.Shaunak Abhisheki, Pt.Hemant Pendse, Dr.Mohan Darekar, Dr.Vidya Damle, Smt.Aparna Kelkar, Smt.Aparna Gurav, Smt.Revati Kamat and Smt.Arti Kundalkar.     The book is been complimented by Pt.
